Gutersloh Station

Gutersloh Garrison is made up of five stations - Gutersloh, Bielefeld, Herford, Dulmen and Munster.

Gutersloh Station, formerly RAF Gutersloh, is a base for British Army helicopters and Royal Logistic Corps Regiments.  It is the home of:1 Regiment AAC, 1 LSR RLC, 2 LSR RLC, 6 Regt RLC, 1 Regiment RMP, and 262 Sig Sqn Royal Signals.It also houses HQ Gutersloh Garrison and HQ 102 Logistics Brigade.

Gütersloh town lies approximately halfway between Hanover and Dortmund: the setting of the town is pleasantly rural with a few major industries.

Gutersloh Station is a large community and there are many clubs and societies.Two HIVEs serve the Gütersloh area:The HIVE in Princess Royal Barracks (PRB) can be found by turning right once you come in the main gates and is on the ground floor within the Amenities centre through the first door to the right as you come in the front entrance. Also located in this building; a large PRI shop, ‘Teapot café, Red Shield paper shop, the SSVC shop and upstairs the Army Welfare Service and Home-Start.
The Mansergh Bks HIVE is situated in the Amenities Centre . Also within the Amenities Centre are the Thrift shop, Hairdressers, Travel agent and the BFG office.
